Orebic Rental Concept
The Orebic Rental Concept in Orebic, Croatia, was a collaborative project where I worked closely with stakeholders. My role was to bring their vision to life by ensuring that both the interior and exterior elements of the property worked together seamlessly. The goal was to create a cohesive and visually appealing rental property that not only fits within the regional context but also aligns with the owner’s unique tastes.
Project Timeline:
The project kicked off with a detailed review of the architectural plans provided by the local firm. My first task was to focus on the landscape, making sure that the natural surroundings complemented the building’s architecture. This involved designing outdoor spaces like pathways, gardens, and other landscape elements that would enhance the property’s overall appeal.
At the same time, I worked on the interior planning, which involved selecting and arranging furniture to ensure that each space was functional, aesthetically pleasing, and reflective of the owner’s vision. I spent a lot of time with the owner, getting to know their preferences and needs, and translating those into practical interior designs that made the best use of the available space.
Spatial planning was another key aspect of the project. I provided the owner with detailed plans that outlined how much space was available in each area of the property, which helped them make informed decisions about furniture placement, room usage, and overall layout. This was essential to ensure that the interiors were not just beautiful but also practical for future tenants.
Cladding and exterior finishes were also a major focus. The challenge here was to choose materials and designs that fit the regional aesthetic of Orebic while also catering to the owner’s personal style. I worked carefully to ensure that the cladding choices enhanced the building’s appearance, providing both durability and visual appeal. The overall theme of the property was curated to reflect the local culture and natural beauty of the area, while still allowing the owner’s unique tastes to shine through.
Conclusion:
The Orebic Rental Concept has made significant progress, with the landscape, interior design, and cladding work nearing completion. Working closely with both the local firm and the property owner, we’ve managed to create a design that’s both regionally appropriate and uniquely personalized. The project is now in its final stages, with finishing touches being applied to get the property ready for its intended use as a rental space.
